Volunteers Plant another 1200 trees in Danson Park

Around 60 volunteers helped the Council to plant a further 1,200 young trees at Danson Park in Welling on Saturday (27 January). Members of the Friends of Danson Park, Bexley Police Cadets, local Scout groups, the Sidcup, Erith and Bexley Rotary Clubs local residents and Councillors each planted the whips for the second and final phase of the park’s replanting programme.
